Porn actors can be required by Los Angeles voters to wear condoms, California health official says in dispute with city attorney's office.   A proposed ballot measure that would require porn actors to wear condoms while filming in the city of Los Angeles has qualified for the June ballot, according to a letter from the city clerk certifying that proponents had gathered enough valid signatures.   Read more here...

My daughter and I were talking while “Ugly Betty” rerun was playing in the background.  During the story-line, they mentioned Tweety Bird tattoo.  I thought, hey, I wonder how many Tweety-Too’s I’ve seen while dressing the brides through the years.  It’s been multiple!  Funny how the cute little birdie has ended up on the backside of so many non-animated characters.

Do you think in 1942 the creator, Bob Clampett, would have thought his bird would trend for years?  That cute, sassy, nothing but attitude birdie has a 70 year old birthday coming up in January.  How do you think the Tweety-too is going to look on the backside of a non-animated character at age 70? Could it possibly stretch like this?

Kris Humphries Gets Booed

I'm feeling for my home boy Kris Humphries.  Kris, who was recently reunited with the New Jersey Nets, was booed at their game against the New York Knicks.  I can understand some hard feelings from the fans, but I think it was a bit extreme.  Maybe the Timberwolves will show some love and bring home boy back to Minnesota?

Don't Go Mobile with T-Mobile

 I've been a T-Mobile customer for over 3 years.  T-Mobile was a great carrier, at least I thought after I had resigned another 2 year contract with the provider.  Well, I was fooled.  Apparently, my service has be continuously overcharged for the past 8 months.  I have 3 phones, one for me and two for my teenage children.  I signed the family plan where I was to have 3G service and internet on my phone only.  My bill should be around 156.00 monthly.  However, T-Mobile has been charging me for 4G access and internet on all phones.  Every two weeks or less, I have been on the phone with the carrier having knock down, drag out sessions.  It seems that the Billing department and Customer Care department are unable to communicate with each other. I've been charged over $700.00 more than I should, and just to keep the phones active, I've been paying the bills.  I've been paying so I can keep in touch with my parents, who are up in age and one is not very healthy.

Three T-Mobile supervisors promise that the corrections will be made and that they will get back to me in a matter of two weeks at the latest.  Well, it's been 5 months.  Still no return call, let alone, the supervisors are dodging my calls.  I was fed up and went to the store where I initially resigned the contract.  The store manager, Michael, saw that I had been overcharged for all these months and promised my account would be credited.  Turned out the credit was not applied and here I am again, back on the phone with Customer Care.  This last Customer Care agent mentioned that she knows money is tight, but my bill is correct.  I explained my bill is NOT correct.  She was very condescending.  I admit, this time I swore!  My Mary Poppins personality was tossed out the window.  I have the funds to pay the bill.  I certainly do not appreciate being judge by a stranger.


I thought about upgrading my children's phones as a Christmas surprise, however, after the treatment I have received from T-Mobile, it's not in the cards at all.  If you want to avoid a mess like this, I strongly suggest to find a different carrier.  Maybe T-Mobile is having hardship and is trying to keep afloat by obtaining additional funds any which way they can.  Thanks T-Mobile for making my Christmas experience the best!!!

The first trailer of Rock of Ages was recently released by Warner Bros.  The film is directed by Adam Shankman.  The 80's themed movie is an adaptation of the Tony-nominated Broadway musical about a small-town girl (Julianne Hough) and city boy (Diego Boneta) who meet while both are pursuing their dreams of making it as an actress and rock star, in Hollywood.

This star-studded movie includes Tom Cruise, Julianne Hough, Paul Giamatti, Alec Baldwin, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Mary J. Blige and Russell Brand to name a few!  Rock of Ages is scheduled to hit the big screen June 1st, 2012.

I've seen many people kiss, but really?  I think reality TV has hit rock bottom.  You decide...

Well, it's finally happened!  The snow is hanging around cold country Minnesota!  It's Brrrr...cold here and I'm missing Vegas!  My last trip to Vegas was in June for a family reunion.  Never a dull moment.  Missing the all the glam and fun that Las Vegas has to offer!  Whether you gamble or not, it's a FABULOUS city.  Plenty of shows to see, food to eat and excellent shopping.  If you like to go clubbing, I suggest to purchase VIP passes ahead of time.  This will save you long wait times.  Keep in mind, most clubs have strict dress codes.  Another suggestion is to hire a limousine to get you around.  I could go on and on about Las Vegas, and stay tuned to my blog for more updates later.  If you have any questions about Sin City, feel free to ask.  I'm a Vegas girl, no matter where in the world I reside.

How To Get Rid Of A Stalker

In the cases when the potential stalker is confronted and asked to abstain from such an activity, the excuse is, “I was not harming him/her, was I? I was just following her/him. You cannot blame me for that. You have no reason to consider me to be a stalker.” All this is said in a highly indignant manner and most of the times, stalkers get away with this excuse, because they have not harmed the victim physically.
Nevertheless, the victim is harmed mentally and emotionally. He starts seeing himself as the helpless prey of someone who may decide to harm him physically, someday. Remember that stalking is some sort of psychological warfare; the stalker feels gratified because his victim feels mentally and physically powerless under such circumstances. You cannot allow yourself to be so helpless, ever.
